Mudroom Locker Ikea Hack

Mudroom Locker Ikea Hack

Living in an old home has it's challenges. One of them being storage! We needed a place for all of our winter gear and boots, so we decided to do an Ikea mudroom locker hack to add some more storage.

We had a spot in our downstairs hallway that worked perfectly. You can easily make these look like they are built-ins but we decided not to due to a small access door for some plumbing.

We just added some new brass knobs and coat hooks.

I also picked up some white washed baskets from Homegoods to store hats, mittens, etc.

Here's what we used from Ikea:

Wall shelf:

HEMNES Wall/bridging shelf, white stain white stained, 72x14 5/8″ - IKEA
HEMNES Wall/bridging shelf - white stain 72x14 5/8 ”. Solid wood has a natural feel. You can use the wall/bridging shelf separately or create a holistic solution with side storage and a TV bench. Built-in cable management for collecting cables and cords out of sight but close at hand.

Bench:

HEMNES TV unit, white stain, 72x18 1/2x22 1/2″ - IKEA
