Halloween is tomorrow, but you can still get in on the spooky madness! We threw our annual Boo Bash this weekend. The kids and adults had so much fun, so I thought I would share with you how I threw a festive Halloween party and on a budget!
A few years ago, I printed out a large photo of a spider and a bat and cut them out using black paper. I reuse them every year! But my favorite secret is The Caravan Shoppe! You can purchase fun prints for Holidays and other things for a small price and get the download immediately. To get the big prints (like the haunted house and the fireplace and mantels which are 36" x 48") you can email the files to Office Depot or Staples and request that they be printed as an architectural print (what I used to use when I was working as a designer and what architects use). Architectural prints can only be printed in black and white, but cost no more than $7 usually. Then you go in and pick up your prints! Tada!
The hula hoop spider web game was a big hit! All you need is a hula hoop, masking tape and cotton balls! You just wrap the masking tape (sticky side outwards) round the hula hoop that creates a web like pattern. Then they throw the cotton balls at the hula hoop and try to get them into the center.
I hope you have a safe and fun Halloween!
